New leasing question

Here's my situation, I currently have 4 receivers (2 r10s, 2 sony b50s). I would eventually like to switch my 2 sonys to r10s. My question is, should I get them before the dtv switches to their leasing program? Does it matter?

Yes, You may not find them after Mar 1.

R10's are already discontinued, but you should still be able to find them at several on-line resources. Try valueelectronics, solidsignal or weaknees to name 3 off the top of my head.

You might be able to find one at a Best Buy, Circuit City or Wallmart - but all their new inventory is the non-tivo based R15.

If you buy before March 1st, you will own it. After that it is lease, and you may not be able to find an R10.
