Has anyone been able to successfully install the drivers for wireless usb adapters onto their series 2 machines? seeing as how I currently have 2 usb adapters (d-link dwl-G122 verD1, netgear wg111 v2) and the linux drivers (d-link is compatable, netgear i don't know), this would be helpful.

You mean you have the TiVo compatible MIPS binaries?

sorry, maybe a better question should be: has anyone been able to upload wireless drivers to the Tivo?

Here's the problem.
Yes there are linux drivers for a few of the wireless G adaapters out there.
If a TiVo was based on a Pentium class processor, running say debian linux then yeah, uploading new drivers should work.
A Tivo is based on a MIPS processor. None of the "Linux Drivers" for these adapters are open sourced as far as I know, therefore no one has been able to port them over for MIPS.
Tivo has released a wireless G adapter that supposedly works very well on Series 2 units running 7.xx software. I don't think anyone as successfully installed these drivers on a DTivo running 6.2.

If they are TiVo compatible MIPS binaries, they might work.

Forget about trying PC Linux drivers, they simply won't work.
