"Winter Olympics" Wish List

Good morning,
Yesterday, I attempted to create wish list for Olympics and became very frustrated after realizing the Tivo recorded opening ceremonies on a channel I don't receive via DirecTV. How can I create a wish list and pinpoint a specific channel to record, OR, how can I exclude channels from being eligible for wish list recording. My hunch is manipulating favorite channels on DirecTV but would like to hear from you.

I created a Sports/Olympics wishlist -- not autorecord. I then went into "view Upcoming programs and selected the times and channels I wanted to record making not of conflicts. Repeated on our other TiVo's. Took about 20 minutes to do all three DVR's.

On my standalone there's a way to edit Channels I Receive. I'm not near the TiVo now or I'd tell you where I find it on mine.
