HR10-250 music channels

The new dvr boxes from directv are supposed to record or pause music channels. I have a series 2 r10 and can't perform any action on the music channels. Anybody out there know if the hr10's can manipulate the music channels? Or did Tivo lock out this feature on all devices for D

I don't know about "all devices", but recording and pausing of the music channels is disabled on the HR10-250. I don't know if the "autorecord wishlist" trick works with them, though. Haven't tried that.

I think it works to a limited degree. I have a wishlist for "Elton John" on my 250. During the holidays, it recorded a 24 hour block of holiday music because Elton John was listed in the description. Although I haven't listened to the whole thing, I do have 24 1-hour tick marks, so I assume all the music is there. Wouldn't know where to find Elton John though. :)

That is the only music it has ever recorded.
