Toshiba SD-H400 S2 no worky today

ok came home from work, turned on tv and saw my tivo booting up, says just a few more minutes. So i change and come back and now its on the gray screen that says power up, then goes into the yellow and black tivo logo screen that says just a few more minutes. Thats all it does, it just loops and keeps looping. :mad: as i like this tivo very much i'm not happy about this. Anybody have any clues as to what may have went wrong?

you think the hard drive when bad?? could buing a new one from the sponcer above fix this??

did something get fried?

any help, or any info as what you may of think happen even if this is just a paper weight now would be nice.......

Hard drive is the most likely culprit. If the hard drive is the problem then a replacement from one of the sponsors should work. Do you have a lifetime subscription? If not, you might consider buying another unit on eBay and selling off your old one "as is". I'm sure that would be much more economical than a replacement kit. Cheapest solution is to do your own hard drive programming and you could be back in business for under $50 depending on the deal you get on the replacement hard drive. Most computer stores and places like Best Buy have specials with rebates on these all the time.
