OK I have been reading a lot of confusing information on this website and TIVO website about peer to peer conecting of TIVO. After trying to find my answers for 2 hours from oter posts I am just going to ask the questions myself.
First, Is all you have to do connect two TIVO's is to have a wireless adapter hooked to each? You don't need a computer or a router?
Next on the TIVO website it says on one page "802.11g adapters are not compatible with peer-to-peer network setups." then on another page it says "In order to use a peer-to-peer wireless network with 802.11g adapters, you must be running the latest version of TiVo software."
Which is correct? Can you use an 802.11g adapter if you have the latest software? What is the difference between 802.11b and 802.11g?
thank you anyone for your help.
