I bought instant cake and I have connected the IDE cables as follows:

Primary Master - nothing
Primary Slave - CD rom with instant cake CD
Secondary Master - Blank TIVO A drive
Secondary Slave - Blank TIVO B drive

The CD contains an .ISO file. When I book the computer, I get a message that says "No operating system found."

Any help would be appreciated,

You have to use a software tool that can read that ISO file and convert it to a CD. The ISO file is the "image" of a CD. You need to use something like Nero or Roxio CD Creator to open the ISO file and write the contents to a CD. THEN boot with that CD.

With Nero Burning Rom cancel the "Wizard" select File --> open, highlight the .iso file, click the Open button then select Burn. No other options need to be changed except maybe the Write Speed or which CD to burn.
