hard drives replacing

Hi new posting guy here
can I take an added on hard drive out of a dtv sat 60sony and put it in a svr 200 sony
are dtv recievers stand alone or are the parts usable in tivo recievers as well
cancelled dtv

have two dtv recievers disconnected and one cable tivo lifetime hooked up at present

Yes, you can use the Sony SAT-T60 hard drive to upgrade your stand-alone Sony Tivo. But you need to properly "image" that drive just like you would image a brand new hard drive. Read Weaknees' step-by-step upgrade thread at the top of this forum. If that looks too complicated, check out PTVUpgrade's InstantCake software here ...
