I just got around to hooking up an OTA antenna. The channel guide shows 2 of the three HD channels I get but not the third.

If I test the OTA signal strength it finds the third channel with a strong signal.

How do I get it to show it to me in the guide?

The channel may be coming from a second market? I cant recall if the HR10 allows two markets or not, but that would do it.

Does it blindly display all the OTA stations it finds? (Doesn't appear to)

Or does it pull a list from a database somewhere? I'm wondering of the station I'm not getting has just recently started broadcasting HD and it isn't in DTV's database yet.

If the third channel is considered to be in your local market it should show up. If it is in an adjacent market, there is a setting under OTA setup called "Setup Local Network Areas" where you can add the adjacent market. If it is in your primary market, you may have to re-run the OTA setup again.

I get over 25 OTA digital channels here (including the .1, .2 etc.) and the program data shows up for all of them, even though most are not broadcasting HD.

I think I have it working now. I had to make it scan for off-air channels. After that it added in several channels it could pick up but weren't previously displayed in the guide.

Apparently it must have an old database it starts with.

thanks for the help.
