*sigh*.

I didn't want to do this. And I'm not ditching DirecTv. I'm hanging on to my DTivos, for now.

But I want HD, so I'm having the TWC guy come tommorrow, and bring me their crappy HD DVR. I'll use it for HD, and the Dtivo for everything else. I'll see what D*'s HD DVR is like, and if Tivo comes out with the S3, I'll grab it.

But right now, I don't have very many other options if I want HD.

Wish I had your budget capacity. ;)

Oh, and your equipment storage capacity. I can't fit another box in my setup.

Why don't you get the HD DTivo??
Thanks to the magic of DirecTV's conversion to Mpeg4, the HD DTiVo is going to be useless and will be switched out with the HR20 anyway.

Make sure the cable installer doesn't cut you dish lines. :)
Or use them for their own purpose. :D
