Hi all,
I've been enjoying HMO on my DirecTiVo for a few weeks now and I wanted to share a couple of useful programs with the community. These programs make the HMO features so much better than what you get with TiVo Desktop or JavaHMO...
J River Media Center (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/) provides a much better interface for browsing music, and you can even use smart playlists. It does photos, too, but I haven't used that part much.
MusicMagic Mixer (http://www.predixis.com/Predixis_Mixer.htm) is a neat program to create interesting playlists and rediscover music you might have forgotten about. It uses acoustical analysis to create playlists of music that goes together well.
I have no stake in these programs, I just use them myself and find they make my TiVo more enjoyable.
If anyone knows of a better TiVo server for viewing photos, I'd love to hear about it. Ideally, one that can read my keyword tags (saved to the file from Photoshop Elements), but I don't know if such a thing exists.
