I have noticed that I often lose the HD signal (searching for sat) due to what I think is pretty mild precipitation , rain or snow. Last night for example. I am referring to most of the HD chanels only and not the standard def. They seem a lot more robust. I don't know if this is normal for the HD channels in my area or if I need some adjustment. I would really appreciate feedback from others in the area.
I have a 3 LNB dish and live in the Plymouth/Northville area in Michigan.
Thanks,
Rick

Sounds like your dish could be aligned better. I live a bit north of you and very rarely have problems like that (very bad weather only).
Good luck!

Quite a few people lost feeds from the 101 satellite on Saturday here in the Detroit area (H20 and 3LNB dish). Mine was out for about an hour (feeds from 110 and 119 were still there). My buddy in Melvindale said the same thing.
