I have a D*TV HR10-250, and the serial port does not seem to work.
I had another one that worked just fine, then stopped working, then due to some other issues, I had to have D*TV replace the unit.
This one does not work at all.
Was there some update that turned it off so that PPP would not work anymore? I use a laptop for the PPP connection, and it still works on my HDVR2 (series 2 D*Tivo) machines.
Unfortunately, I have Vonage, and a crappy Linksys PAP2. I have tried numerous things, and nothing works. I am tempted to go back to a regular hard line.
Any thoughts?
