I've had a HR10-250 that was successfully working for years.
I had a power surge and that seemed to nuke my HR10-250. I ran spinrite on both drives and it reported no problems.
At any rate, I bought a new HR10-250 and thought I would use the InstantCake with the "F" version to attempt to keep my recordings when moving to the new box. I was on the baseline version with the original HR10-250.
I transfered the drives to the new HR10-250 and only would see space for 30hr HD (clearly not seeing the full 500mb). I pulled the drives out and put them in the PC and this time used MFS Tools 2.0 and used the ADD function to append the two drives. It said that it worked and that I had 500mb of space referenced.
I put the drives back in the Tivo and it says that I only have 30 hrs HD recording time.
TivoWebPlus shows what appears to be two drives, but only half the size of the drive:

Any ideas as to why I am only showing 30hrs HD after swapping machines and running InstantCake and then rerunning MFStools Add?
