Adding telnet to Series 2 Tivo??

Hi all,

I'm going to upgrade my Series 2 Tivo from the 40gb to a 300gb tonight and want to make sure I add a telnet client to it. Can anyone suggest where to download a client for Tivo? I saw the Zipper, however, that seems to be geared towards the DirectTivo, rather than the 540 Series Two model.

Already downloaded the Weaknees CD 4.01 (w/LBA support). Am I missing anything, or is there another CD to download for installing the app? At this point I don't want to pay $20 to get Instantcake.

The hack CDs you make (including by downloading files from some other site) have most of the stiff needed to add telnet. However, since you have a 540, you have the PROM based system protection to deal with, whch means you need to replace the PROM.

Sounds like I won't be replacing the drive tonight after all.
