Tivo with Sky

Hi All,

Have been searching for the past 3 hours and cant find the info im looking for.

Im sorry if the following question is stupid but im looking for a reply to this please:

With Sky + you can record 2 programmes at once or record one and watch another etc.

I would like to get Tivo but cant work out how it works with normal Sky receivers?

Will it only record the channel its on or will it record one while you watch another?

If you set it to record 2 different programs at 2 different times on 2 different channels, does the Tivo PVR change the channel on the Sky receiver?

Sky box TV Scart out to TiVo Aux Scart in, TiVo TV Scart out to TV.

Can only record the channel you are viewing or it's set too. If you want to watch another programme at the same time you will need a second Sky box or a Freeview box or use the analogue tuner in your TV. But don't forget you can view a previously recorded programme while another is being recorded.

Yes, using IR (wands or front panel emitter) works in a similar manner to a remote control.
