Direct has a couple channels where they display the video from 6 different channels. Is there a way to watch this screen and switch the audio between the different feeds?

You have to have a DTV Plus Receiver or DVR. None of the models with TiVo Software have that. The R15 does, but does not have TiVo DVR software.

I believe you can switch audio by choosing the alternate audio selections from the banner, but not easily like the way the channels are intended.

Yea, audio #1 is the DTV guy/gal. Audio #2 is top left, audio #3 is top middle, etc.

Have they updated the r-15 to allow the full use of the mix channels? I haven't checked in a while but I couldn't use the Mix channels on my r-15 or my h-20.

Yup. The R-15, when on a mix channel, displays a yellow square around the picture. As you move the cursor around, the audio changes automatically. Press SELECT and you tune to the channel that is highlighted.

I know that satellite TV is limited by the tuners, and a big advantage that cable cos could exploit would be to allow users to set up customized mix channels.

Cable is tuner limited too, just not so much since all the signals are usuall on the same coax at once.

Thanks for that info I had no idea you could switch the audio that way.

Morgan...thank to you too for the detailed explaination.

Now if only there was a way to get the Interactive weather and Lottery I would not care so much that my wife wants to keep the R10s insttead of going to the R15
