i don't acually know what all that suff is but i know it's good!
i already have an original which is now in the bedroom.
Now..my PC is upstairs, my new tivo downstairs.
can i connect to tivoweb wirelessly? and how?
can i get my 2 tivos to communicate wirelessly, and how?
please don't answer in all that computer speak, as i'm not that literate.

You will need a network card (cachecard or turbonet) for your original PC and a wireless bridge for each TiVo, along with a wireless router or access point on your LAN. I would strongly recommend getting all your wireless kit from the same manufacturer to avoid compatibility problems.

Unfortunately, the details of setting all this up will involve some technical terms, but once you get the hardware, post again and I'm sure somebody will guide you through it :)

A Wireless bridge allows a networked TiVo (or PS2, XBox etc.) to be connected to a wireless network. See this link - http://www.netgear.co.uk/home_wireless_ethernet_bridges.php

To wirelessly network your TiVo you need a cachecard/Turbonet card installed (which you have), a PC (which you have) and a wireless network(which I assume you have).

To connect your TiVo to the network you can either plug straight into the wireless router, (if it is near your TiVo) or use a Wireless Bridge (sometimes known as a gaming adaptor due to its most common usage).

The link I posted is for a Netgear bridge as I use Netgear, but as Blindlemon says it is really useful to use wireless kit from the same manufacturer as it takes away one source of potetial problems.

When you have done all the hardware side, the fun really starts. I did mine 3 weeks ago and it was quite straightforward. You need to use the guides that are on here as they really are helpful. When you have got the hardware sorted either search the forums or I or one of the real experts here will post you some links.

Good luck
