I have been trying to burn DVD's from my TiVo2Go files. I have Roxio 8.
My #1 problem is that whenever I try to open a .tivo file in MyDVD, I get a message telling me that either I have the wrong MAK or that the files aren't authentic TiVo files. I found a way to convert them to .MPEG, so this isn't the biggest deal, but would be nice to solve.
#2 problem - After using EMC 8 to edit out the commercials, I am able to save the project (save often!!), and am able to render an .ISO file. What I cannot do is burn that onto a DVD. I have an NEC 3550A DVD -R/+R/-RW/+RW/DL burner, but when I try to copy disc image onto the DVD, I get "Unspecified error [0x80004005]". One time I got a different error - "Write error - media error 03/0C/00" Does anyone know what these mean? Is this a hardware issue?
