PC Video

I would like to be able to view any and all video from my PC on Tivo. I know there has to be a way to change the file format or extension to make Tivo recognize it, any tips?

Similarily, how would I go about viewing a DVD or DVD content from the PC on Tivo?

Convert your PC video to MPEG2 and drop it in your TiVo folder. If you have a series 2 running current software you should be able to pull them in. DVDs you need to rip... you can cheat a bit and rename a single .vob file as .mpeg - it won't work with all content, but it's a big time saver over ripping then converting.
