Humax DRT400 setup with home theater?

Okay, I give up. How do I hook up my Humax DRT400 to my Home theater system so that I can actually have surround sound? I see NO outputs, except for the digital audio...which is only giving me straight stereo (L and R, not even center) with the appropriate cable. My A/V receiever is a Yamaha that's never given me problems before...please help...

Go to settings/audio and play with all the settings. By default the Humax is set to the lowest common denominator, so you'll need to turn on all the features your reciever supports.

Are you talking about the DVD audio?

Only DVD audio is DD or DTS 5.1. Anything you record and playback from the hard drive will only be stereo.
