Does anyone know if you can get TWO DVR's and save $100 on each ($200 for HD)? I just bought one R10 and activated it. I will be sending in the rebate for that one. Can I add another and send in another separate rebate form? The only thing the rebate form says is that this offer cannot be combined with any other offers.
Anyone bought TWO or more DVR's and used the coupon for each one?
Thanks,
Marc

Copied & Pasted directly from the D* rebate form (PDF Doc.):
"For $100 rebate, DVR service activation also required. For $200 rebate,
DIRECTV HD package activation required. Limit one $100 rebate and
one $200 rebate for a total of $300 per account. Limit one rebate per
receiver. Customers receiving instant rebate(s) from DIRECTV not
eligible. Not valid for purchases by groups, clubs or organizations.
DIRECTV HD Receiver rebate not valid in AK or HI after 12/06/05."
Key phrase: "Limit one rebate per receiver." So yes, you can add another. Whether or not you can send in two different rebate forms I'm not sure of. What is required is sending a copy of your bill along with the rebate form to verify activation. It would seem you could do it all in one shot with one rebate form since your bill would verify activation of the two receivers. Just remember your limited to a total of $300.00.

I guess I should call D* to verify this. It does look like the limit is $300 per account and I would be sending in two $100 rebates. But then it says limited to one $100 rebate. I will report back.

I have read in other forum posts that the limit is per account per year. So one $100 rebate per account per year and one $200 rebate per account per year.

Let us know if you succeed in getting more than that.

Yah, you gotta read through that more than once to make sense of it. It's somewhat confusing and I think D* could have worded that much more clearly. I did call D* about this rebate because I just purchased a HR10-250. The CSR told me that the only way you can get a total of $300 is if you have 2 receivers thereby claiming the $100 rebate on one, and the $200 rebate on the other (assuming your activating both the DVR service activation and the HD package activation). I don't think you can claim the $100 rebate twice. Go figure...

Just try it, its only $100 and the receiver is worth $100 anyways if you get turned down. With DirecTV personnel the way they are, I could easily see them not checking or missing something if they did check.
