Normally, I would hook up the Tivo and cable box to run together in a usual setup. However, Since I have HD now, I use my HD cable boxes that come with a built in DVR. I still want to use the optional apps that can run on Tivo like Yahoo and Galleon. Is it possible for me to split my cable line and run a line directly from the splitter into the Tivo, and then an S-Video connection from my Tivo directly to my LCD? Will this allow me to record non premium cable programs and give me access to the applications like Yahoo and Galleon? To the extent it means anything, I have my Tivo set to connect to the network wirelessly.

Thanks in advance, John

Yes. You'll also need to run Guided Setup again and tell it that you're using cable without a box.

Thanks for the reply. One more question pleae: How do you get guided setup to run again? I have never seen an option to re-run guided setup.

Thanks
