I was just wondering if it was possible to transfer video from my PC(Avi, MPEG, DIVX, etc..) to my Humax DVD recorder so I can burn them to DVD. I know it would be much easier to just buy a DVD recorder for my PC but I was wondering if I could do it this way instead?? Thanks!!!

Any video that did not originate (i.e. was not recorded) on a DVD TiVo cannot be burned to DVD. This is because the DVD TiVos like the Humax and Toshiba record in DVD compliant resolution.
If you record from a camcorder over firewire, or from some other source through the composite jacks (like a DVD player or VCR), though, you can burn that.

I recorded from a DVD player through the composite jacks a show that I had originally recorded on Tivo. When I tried to burn it back to a new DVD, it would not allow me. On the other hand, I can burn shows recorded from a videotape that was recorded through the composite jacks. Tivo must sense the resolution of the incoming material and make its determination whether or not to allow you to burn to DVD from that.

Well, that is true ... TiVo still has to recognize and adhere to Macrovision copy protection, so if you were trying to record a commercial DVD, you won't be able to burn it.
Sorry, I should have been more clear in my original post.
