when does tivo update itunes playlists?

hey all

do you guys know when exactly tivo updates the playlists it gets from itunes?

a lot of times, i'll make a new playlist to listen via tivo, and then when i check it via tivo it's not there yet.

tonight i had to quit and relaunch itunes for it to show up. is this always necessary? is there a time i have to wait? what's the deal?

I'm having the same problem with playlists and new songs. Does anyone know how to get Tivo to recognize the new playlists and songs?

I'm running Tivo 1.9.2 on a Mac.

try turning tivodesktop off then on again in the pref pane, and then go back to tivo central and then into the music again. worked for me

My problem was actually that the playlist was all AAC files. I guess I'll have to stop buying music from iTunes store if I want to listen to them on MY audio system. Thanks for the post.
