DVD not Working

I own a Toshiba RS-TX20 unit and the DVD burner is not work at all when inserting a disc it says loading then "no disc" I dont here any ramping up of the DVD player at all was wonering if anyone knows if this plaer can be replaced and if so what brand of DVD burner can be drop in........
