I just got a Verizon xv6700 (which is pretty neat) and am having problems using Windows Media Player 10 to transcode and synchronize a .tivo file.
I have followed the recommendations at Tivo (see their FAQ) with no success. Instead of converting the file, WMP10 just copies the file to the phone. And then the mobile phone doesn't recognize the .tivo file after the transfer.
As a test, I used a program to convert the .tivo file to a .mpg file before synchronization. In this state, the program was properly converted and transferred to the windows mobile phone.
Anyone have an idea why WMP10 is not converting directly from a .tivo file? I'm using the Nvidia Purevideo codec with no other codecs installed.
