I work at Grouper and have a Tivo at home; I sure would like to use them together (legally, of course) but I don't know what's possible.
For example, it seems I should be able to watch videos downloaded from Grouper on Tivo in the living room.
Is anyone already doing this? Are there other things they can do together?
( For those who don't know, Grouper is a peer-to-peer file sharing application with built-in transcoding and video editing.)

Without knowing anything much about Grouper, if it can transcode to mpeg2, within the specs detailed on this page (http://customersupport.tivo.com/knowbase/root/public/tv251080.htm?), then it should be possible to send video from Grouper to the TiVo. If the user has TiVo Desktop or Galleon installed and properly configured, Grouper can put the transcoded mpeg2 video in the TiVoToGo folder, and it will be possible to transfer it onto the TiVo.

Cool, thanks for the info!
No, it can't (yet) transcode to mpeg2, but that sounds like a great weekend project. ;-)
