Undo the 30 sec skip button?

I'm not a fan of the 30 second skip...well, not really me but my gf hates it. How can I undo it?

There is probably an easier way, but rebooting TiVo will do it

You turn it off the same way you turned it on.

A sorta related question. What was this button suppose to do from the factory? I did the 30 second skip thing before I ever even tried to use the button so I am wondering what it did originally?

skips to the end. when in FF mode, skips to the next tick mark.

skip to end if palying at normal speed

and skip to tick mark if FFing. I use it for this alot

It still does the skip to tick while fast-forwarding even with the 30-second feature activated.
