HR10-250 HDMI Output Question

Is there any way to tell on a new HR10-250 DVR if it has the "fixed" HDMI connector?

Plug it in. Does it work?

My understanding is that the problem people had was with a circuit inside. My new HR10-250 has been flawless with HDMI.
