Filtering "Spice" and "Pleasure" and other R+ Rated Channels from Program List

When I go thru the program list to choose movies to record, it gives me all the choices including ones I don't get - with some very raunchy titles. :eek: This makes it tough on the kids (well, on me with the kids). Can I filter or block those channels in the program lineup?

You can modify the "channels I recieve list", iirc.

there are also "Parental Controls" found under Messages and Settings.

If you don't want the TiVo suggesting programs, then remove those channels from the Channels You Receive list. This is also the list that is used for searching titles, etc.

To avoid them appearing when they get added, edit your Favorites list and use that. You can get to it by bringing up the guide and hitting Info. This also does a great job of removing all of the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB channels as well as the added PPV and other channels which keep appearing.
