Help me catch up a little..

Ok, I have a DirecTv TiVo with about 200hrs of record time on it.

i have been having problems understanding the new Series 2 and other Tivo's out there

can you now go to the internet and tell your tivo to record something with a newer directv tivo.

what else. any USB anything.. etc.etc.
