Hey all, I am brand new to TiVo (just got it Friday and I love it). I have a PVT100 unit with the stock 14Gig Hard Drive. I plan on upgrading to a 250gig or so ASAP, but it wont be for a few weeks. When I add shows to be recorded, it always says Conflict and asks if I want to delete a show that is yet to be recorded, a day earlier (meaning to move up the delete time). Does this have to do with the fact that its only a 14 gig hard drive? If I get a 250gig will I be getting messeges like that? I want to be able to record whatever I want and keep it on my hard drive for as long as I want and manually delete things. is this possible? Thanks!

definitely due to limited HD space
the upgrade will fix this

It depends on how much stuff you record.

Bigger HD = more storage. It is a simple formula.
Yes, 14GB is very small. Also the recording quality and the use of Keep Until I Delete govern how much you can fit on it. Just a few KUID Season Passes on a drive that small will lead to space issues.
