Questions about Tivo and Comcast

Hey all... This question has probably been asked a thousand times, but my main question is does Tivo work w/ comcast digital cable?? If so.. is it easily explained how to set it up in the setup instructions. If tivo doesn't work w/ comcast digital cable, will it work w/ comcasts regular cable service?? (minus the digital cable box)
