Dish Network

I have been with D* for 10yrs and know nothing about Dish. My neighborhood is being hounded by their salesman trying to get you to switch from D*. Can anyone recommend a site/threads where the two are compared as far as equipment and service?

I switched to E* for a while because I thought they would be better. A day after my 1 year contract was up, I was back as a D* customer.

A forum is the wrong place to ask this question. By its very nature, it's a collection of people devoted to (or at least with some kind of passion about) a particular subject. Therefore it's going to be biased - whether it's for D*, Dish or All My Children!

I do not know of any impartial sites that will get you the information you're looking for, but my recommendation would be to Google both and read as much as you can. Try Consumer Reports, Clark Howard or even some of the shopping comparison sites like MySimon or PriceGrabber.com.
