Dead TiVo - Transfer HD to New TiVo

I have a Series 2 which has a dead motherboard. I have another Series 2 which is fully fuctional. I would like to pull the HD out of my dead TiVo and place it into my good TiVo. They are both Series 2.

Will I encounter any problems?

If they are the same revision, it will probably work - but you will probably need to do a Clear and Delete Everything to get the software on the drive to sync with the main board and get the TSN set. If they aren't the same revision, you may have trouble.
