Is that guy who played the hamburger boss a famous movie director? Can't think of his name.

Just remembered his name - jon favreau

Forget the boss; how about his wife?!! ;)

Yea the wife was funny. "With the stuff he does to me, I hope not".

Whoo, has Favreau put on some pounds since the last time I saw him.

OK episode; no better. One of the weakest of the season, I think. There were a few funny lines ("They both had mold in the basement") but overall not much worthy of comment.

And I looked up Favreau's wife on IMDB. Taylor Kain was born in 1982. I feel old :(

That was Favreau's real life wife??? What do ya know...and yes, he appears to be visiting Burger King more than he should...
It was a good episode, even if it wasn't the greatest...still good for some laughs, and still probably better than 95% of what I watch until the next episode...

It was 1000% better than Crumbs.
The woman in the tanning bed was killing me! All dark brown except for her eyes.

"Earl, what is that?!"

By far, my favorite part of the episode. That and Favreau's prison mug: World's Best Bottom  :p

Weak episode over all, but I *loved* the part where Randy was backing away from the "thing" in the tanning bed

Oh, and Favreau'a wife in the show was HOT, as was his mistress

Those were the best two parts, bar none.

Randy's reaction to the sun-tanner was hilarious!

And the mug was classic. My friends and I have an inside joke about bottoms so as soon as the episode ended I had an IM and a text message on my phone! Too funny!

At the very beginning when they get out of bed and it's really cold. Earl tells Randy, "Put on your coat before you get the sniffles and ruin all your long sleeves again." Classic. Loved the part with the woman in the tanning bed too.

I think this show is starting to grow on me more & more because it is actually starting to get to be more intelligent humor...much like AD. A lot of the subtle jokes that you need to be paying attention (and pretty quick) to catch are what makes a sit-com stand out for me.

And I was a little confused about one thing in this episode. Jeff had no money to take his leathery wife on a honeymoon, but he can afford a tanning bed in their living room?

That's where all the money went that Earl didn't steal! Duh!! ;) ;)

I just glazed over that line when he said it, one of those subtle ones you miss if you aren't paying attention (or you wife insists on talking to you at night....sheesh, what's that all about. Didn't I buy her a tivo to? :)

Is the girl who played the wife the same one who played Taylor Vaugn in "She's all that?" I forgot to check the credits and neither imdb or TV.com seem to have that character credited.

I love Favreau's characters. The buddy in Daredevil, the psycho in Replacements, the Stoner in PCU and the Rich Ultimate fighter guy from several Friends episodes. He's awesome, I always have to go back to IMDB because he becomes his characters soo much that I don't remember it was him.

"World's best bottom"...written on a tin cup no less, that's a pure genius jab at all that "Worlds best..." merchandise. Kinda like my favorite jab at all the "I [heart] my dog" and the like stuff: "I [spade] my cat" and "I [club] my seal"

He was also the clown in Seinfeld in the episode where George runs out of the burning apartment, pushing over the children and the old lady with the walker. "Bozo? You're livin' in the past, man! You're hung up on some clown from the sixties, man!"

Good episode, I too can't believe how much weight Favreau has put on... I almost didn't recognize him!

Wasn't he also one of the producers of Zathura? I seem to recall him being involved in the "Zathura-related" task in the last season of The Apprentice...

He is the director, not the producer, of Zathura, as well as a few other other feature films, his biggest hit being last year's "Elf".

He wrote, produced and directed "Made" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0227005/), which is shown every once in a while on TV. He and Vince Vaughn star as two losers who have to collect some money for the mob. Hilarious movie, with Vaughn playing one of the most irritating (and funniest) characters I've ever seen in a movie. Highly recommended.

And about his weight, he seems to be one of those yo-yo people when it comes to weight. He was probably the heaviest I've seen him though in this episode.

Favreau also played Monica's boyfriend in some earlier episodes of Friends. (I think he was real rich and wanted to be in tough-man, fight, contests.)

I don't understand why people found this episode boring. I thought it was great with lots of good one-liners and a few good sight gags as well - the tanned wife, the mustache hair net. In my view Randy, and the interplay between Earl and Randy, really make this show work.

Good episode. The "Billiam" line at the end had me laughing as much, if not more, than the rest of the episode.

This bit kept me chuckling for days -

Randy: Say "moose and squirrel".

Russian Mail Order Bride: (In dead on Natasha voice). "Mousze und Squarrrel".

Randy: Just the way I thought she would say it.

This episode had a handful of good moments in it, and continues the trend of never pulling any punches, but it was a letdown compared to previous episodes, particularly the one immediately before. When it ended, I was thinking, "what, it's over?" I was still waiting for the good bit. However, even as a relative letdown, it's still great, so that just shows how spectacular it is usually. "World's Best Bottom"... they really don't pull any punches.
