Need Help

Ok, I've got a Directv HD DVR Tivo coming saturday afternoon to be installed. I have no phone line. Could I please get some suggestions on how to make it work.

Take it to a friend's house and let it make the first call. After that, just ignore the nag screen.

Do they have to have directv or do I just need to take to somebody's house that has a phone line?

All they need is a phone line and a TV to hook the DVR to.
