viewing .tivo --> mpeg in Quicktime

I converted a .tivo to MPEG using TVHarmony Autopilot. When I try to view the MPEG in Quicktime I hear all the audio but the video freezes on the first frame. I am using Quicktime 7.0.4 with the MPEG playback component installed.

any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is using Sorenson Squeeze to convert the Mpeg file to a quicktime file. That should work but it isn't the fastest converter on earth.
