What is the best software for burning tivo programs to dvd?
I know Tivo and Sonic seem to have a deal yet all the posts seem to be about MyDVD not working, and does it only allow you to make the dvd or can it be used to cut out commercials and such?
What is the best software to cut commercials and make a Dvd playable in any player? Sorry for the redundancy if this is.

THere are a ton of threads on this topic. If you do a search you find several. There are a bunch of programs that will do what you want (NVE, etc.). Some are free and some cost $$$. Instead of retreading something that has been written about a great deal in this forum, I think you can find the info you are looking for in the archives.

Real quick. VideoRedo will allow you to cut commercials and output .mpg file from .tivo. Nero Vision Express (with DVD plug-in) will allow you to author a DVD using that .mpg file.

This is the solution I use. It works well.
