Hi -

I posted this question at dbstalk a few days ago but did not get a response. Sorry in advance if this is not the place to post this.

I am a proud owner of a Harmony 676 which I use for my home theater setup in the basement and was looking for another, less expensive Harmony remote for the bedroom. We have a Hughes E-25 reciever and a DVD/TV combo and was looking for something else simple.

I tried a One for All 6131 after some glowing recomendations but I could never get the codes for the TV/DVD to work. One for All's support is horrible at best and anfter 2 weeks of awful email support I am throwing in the towel.

I wanted to buy the harmony 659 but noticed 2 different models on Amazon. The list a H-659 for $95 and a SST-659 for $89.

Anyone know the difference?

Thanks!!

I would guess that "H-659" is sloppiness on the part of the seller.

Thanks for the reply. It just seems funny that the are offering both models on the same site.....

I guess I should order the one that's $5 cheaper, huh?

They are the same remote. I ordered one of each at different times and they are exactly the same. They will also do everything the 676 will do except they don't have the a and b button

Why not buy another 676? Newegg has it for $99.

bought mine there, got it in two days.
