remote control question

I know the control has a bunch of neat tricks like the 30-sec skip and such but is there a trick or code that can stop the over-forward buffer? Like everytime I forward a show it doesn't play where i stop it...it plays a few seconds before.

Anyway to stop that? Its so annoying.

No. That's one reason why I prefer the 30-sec skip instead. But, with practice, I've gotten pretty good at know when to exit FF so that I can hit the spot I want pretty close.
