Live TV goes to program recording!

Here's the scenario:

I'm watching a live football game on one tuner, while the other tuner is recording a hockey game. During half-time I decide to watch one of my recorded shows from the Now Playing list. Later I decide to go back to watching the football game, so I press Live TV. The Tivo box tunes into the hockey game instead of going back to the football which was live! Now I can see the hockey scores which defeats the purpose of recording the show in the first place. :mad:

I'm trying to figure out why it would go to a show that's recording instead of the live programming. Any ideas?

Technically a program that is recording is still "live" TV.

I don't have a dual-tuner TiVo, so I'm not sure how it determines which tuner to jump to when you press Live TV.

Try using the down arrow instead of the Live TV button.

My guess is that the Live TV button actually swaps tuners. So even though you were watching a recording, pressing Live TV sent it to the other tuner (Hockey Game).
