Series 2 box to DVR/DVD Recorder Box?

Can I switch from the regular Series 2 (40 Hr.) TiVo Box to a TiVo Box with a built-in DVD Recorder? If so, what brand do you recommend? Can I just switch the boxes or do I have to notify TiVo? Do I have to open a new account? :confused:

You have to activate the new box and you'd put it on the same account. You can keep using the other box, or sell it, or whatever. If you have lifetime on the old box you cannot move the lifetime to the new one.
