I've seen every episode of CSI and can't remember when she came aboard.

The blonde who gave her a hard time for not answering a page and voice mail for over 4 hours or whatever it was? I'd be pissed too. (I wasn't paying that close attention, was there more to this later?) She was introduced last season as a CSI. When Gil got the team back together the writers decided to keep her on the show by making her a detective instead of a CSI.

No, there wasn't anything else to their confrontation. It's just the blond has a "butch" attitude to her. maybe it's just me.

I did find it odd that they never explained where Sara was, drinking again perhaps?

Speaking of lesbians, werewolf girl was played by Leisha Hailey (http://www.thelwordonline.com/alice.html), the (sometimes) blonde reporter from The L Word.

Um she was Brass's partner in that big Cop/Gang shoot out two episodes ago.....

She's been in the show for awhile. I think she was first introduced in the episode where Gil came from a banquet (honoring Eckley I think) to a scene. The blonde also came as well.

I vaguely recall what I thought was Grissom checking her out in the elevator and thinking 'Good for him!'.

Or maybe none of that happend at all.

Further, she was a supervisor of on one of the shifts and would be aware of Sarah's alcohol related issues (Early Rollout) and rehab. I think it was a reference to the fact that her co-workers are having issues trusting a booze hound.

This episode fell flat for me. Not really sure why, I just didn't get into it.

Maybe it was just bad writing, but who in their right mind would leave 1 voicemail and then stand in front of a phonebooth for hours waiting for someone to show up. I know how often most people I work with check their voicemail--I'd die of hunger by the time they showed up.

As for the ep, I hope we aren't going to see too many of these one case eps. I like that CSI:LV likes to do two or three cases in an episode, showing that there's more than just one murder per week in Vegas.

I also find it interesting how there really wasn't any forensics in the episode. Sure, there was DNA, fingerprinting, ballistics--all the usuals. But none of them actually did anything for the case. Ultimately they found the murderer because of an eyewitness.

The sister didn't want to testify, so they used the fact that the guy's fingerprint was on a rock in order to get the warrant for his house where found the silver bullet cast, etc... Oh, and the people in the science lab confirmed that the silver in the guy's garage or wherever was the same as the silver from the bullet.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. They hoped to convict on the forensic evidence, but they didn't have a clue about who did it until they talked with the sister/eyewitness. That seems more like a L&O plot than CSI.

I don't know anything about it either but you'd think so. At least your face and hands and then wear long-sleeve clothes to cover up the rest. But maybe it just grows too fast and after all those years they get sick of shaving?
