Recording HD PPV

Is there a limit on how long can I keep a recording of an HD PPV program?

There are stories that the new non-TiVo DVRs from D* use Macrovision copy protection and also automatically delete PPV programming after a period of time. However, I haven't seen anything from anyone about this since the rumours started. At least, I haven't read about anyone losing a show or movie.

So, while I can't answer your question directly from personal experience, I would venture to say that PPV recorded on the HR10 is pretty safe.
