r10 help

I have Vonage and the Tivo is in a bedroom that has no phone jack in it. I bought a Netgear wireless usb adapter. Can it work? I am so frustrated as I am new to this..........Anyone please help me

Nope, it won't work. The R10 can't be hacked unless you're handy with a soldering gun.
