I am using a Tivo Series 1 (Sony SVR-2000) with Vonage Linksys RTP300 via home phone wiring. When I initiate a daily call, Tivo says the call has succeeded, but the schedule isn't updated.
Can anyone shed light on this problem?

As of April 2 in most areas and April 4 in others, VoIP protocols will no longer be allowed for TIVO system updates.
This means that TIVO will no longer be using your Vonage connection.
TIVO is forcing it's users to run a hardwire from the home router or use wifi that they now sell. tivo.com/store/gears.do
$59.99 TiVo Wireless G USB Network Adapter
and of course you'll need the Netgear Wireless 802.11g Router $49.99
Way to go TIVO!!

The WiFi adapter won't work on a Series 1.
Do you have a link for your info on VOIP?

Do you have a link for your info on VOIP, or are you just here to argue?

One of the best things about this forum is the ignore user function. :)

there isn't a link..
if there where, do you think I would be here?
I just wanted it fixed but I see now that it isn't going to happen.
This forum is a joke.
