rebate of a refurb Series 2 - no UPC came?

I just bought a refurb 80 hour Humax DVD recorder that has a $150 rebate.

however, on the rebate form it says you must send in copy or original of UPC. the box the refurb came in was just a plain brown box. what should I do?

I boght a Toshiba and thought I had the same problem. It has been several weeks but I located the UPC in a crazy place. Will look around and see if I can find it. If I do will be back to you.
