Tivo and Netflix

Does anyone know what ever happened to the rumor of Tivo delivering movies with Netflix's help. Is the delivery of Rocketvoom vblogs, a covered up way of testing the delivery, quality and overall customer experience of video delivery?

Netflix had trouble licensing content from the studios for this service. Last I heard, they said they would do a small scale service, but nothing like what they wanted (a substantial portion of their library available online). Someone who recalls the nitty gritty details may want to fill in here.
